Ukraine has become a major player in the outsourcing vendor market place over the past decade. The reasons for this are numerous, but the most named by their clients are as follows:
- It has become a developed and mature IT market, with a great deal of government support, primarily in investment in computer science programs at the university level, graduating as many as 16,000 IT specialists annually.
- Vendor costs are relatively low in comparison with other emerging IT outsourcing markets.
- Its vendors have a history of successful work with such giants as Samsung and Microsoft.
- Vendors are committed to compliance with international standards.
- Security is a high priority, with state-of-the-art measures in place to protect client proprietary information and data.
